Henrique J. Paris is an Angolan Artist-Researcher, graduated in Philosophy with Film at the University of Hertfordshire and currently completing an MPhil in Architecture Research at Royal College of Art. Through his transdisciplinary practice Henrique investigates spatial and memorial politics, cross-examining immersive networks and articulation metrics tracing through different crossroads. The artist-researcher is interested in the act of engineering micro-territorial, discursive and ontological ties — he tells us better about the meaning of the verb (in action) “historiographing”applying into practice the highlighting of chronologies and choreographies of emancipation. Re-thinking counter-colonial epistemologies; Henrique has used multimedia installations, sound, performance, and still-moving images, sound & object-making.
